The storyline between Lana and Rusev has reached a new level of ridiculousness.
The couple is engaged in real life and the WWE has had to re-write its storylines to accommodate this fact after TMZ revealed the pending nuptials a few months ago. The WWE was running with an angle that the two "Russian" personalities were at odds, but it was exposed as a farce when the engagement news leaked.

The "Ravishing Russian" was at the time involved in a storyline relationship with Dolph Ziggler, while the "Bulgarian Brute" was paired up in an angle with Summer Rae. Once the news leaked, the WWE quickly noted on television that the two made up with one another.
Now, in their exclusive interview with Michael Cole, Lana claims to still be a virgin.

"I've always been a good girl," Lana told Cole. "I've always told the truth and my father, who was a Russian minister, asked me to save myself for marriage. And this is what I'm doing."
Lana, who is originally from Florida, lives with Rusev in Nashville and is really named C.J. Perry, has been anything but a good girl outside the WWE.
The Diva appeared on-screen in different acting roles before making her way to the WWE and boy was she naughty. The blonde bombshell appeared on an episode of "Banshee" in 2013 in a scene where another character did a line of cocaine off of her breasts.
Not quite the wholesome image the PG WWE wants its fans to get from Lana. The Diva was in a lot of hot water with officials recently after her engagement leaked to ruin the storylines and she got into a Twitter war with Paige.
The WWE may be trying to paint a wholesome image of Lana, but it's a fool's errand.
It's unknown if Rusev and Lana have had sex in real life, but based on her acting past it's hard to picture them going the way of athletes like Tim Tebow and Russell Wilson.
The whole angle has been a mess for the WWE, but it reached a new, unintended comedic low in the couple's latest in-character interview.
