Jeremy Lin’s crossover of LeBron James was the perfect symbol for his entire NBA career. It had all the makings of a genius, but eventually fell short.
Christian Values Made Charlotte The Obvious Choice For Jeremy Lin
Trailing by three in the second quarter, Lin got the better of the four-time MVP. A stellar between-the-legs step back shattered James’ ankles. The bench, the crowd, the audience, everyone waited for the money shot -- the ball swishing through the net.
But in typical Lin fashion, he couldn’t deliver.
Jeremy Lin Must Be Humble To Succeed In Charlotte

Espn sent me a highlight where Jeremy Lin crossed LeBron James, but missed the shot. So what you're saying is he didn't actually do anything

How are you gonna sit there & talk about how Jeremy Lin broke LeBron's ankles? He still missed the wide open shot

To everyone making a big deal about Jeremy Lin shaking off LeBron, you know he missed the shot, right? It's the result that counts.

At least Allen Iverson had the decency to make his shot.
For all the excitement -- Linsanity in New York, Houston’s $28.8 million contract offer, the eventual trade to Los Angeles -- the ending is never perfect for Lin.
Saturday was just the latest example of a player you’d be excited to trade for, but would eventually fall short.
