You can't help who you love. Just ask Lindsey Vonn.
The American skier -- who had no choice but to end her relationship with Tiger Woods due to "incredibly hectic lives" -- admitted her love for the former world No. 1 hasn't dissipated, opening the door for a potential reconciliation in the future.
Rory McIlroy Doesn't Want To Say What He Really Feels About Tiger Woods
"I mean I loved him and I still love him," Vonn told CNN's Christina Macfarlane. "I had an amazing three years with him. Sometimes things just don't work out and unfortunately it didn't work out for us.
"But I don't have any regrets and I think we're both in a pretty good place."
Give Tiger Woods His Women Back
Not really. At least not in Woods' case.
A successful follow-up procedure to his Sept. back surgery relieved discomfort, but there's still no timetable for his return to the course. When he does, he'll return at No. 394, at best.
Not exactly a "pretty good place" in golfing terms.
Tiger Woods announced that he underwent another back surgery and there is currently no timetable for his return to action. #PGA

The same can't be said for Vonn, who won 19 crystal globes and finished third in the World Championship race last season. Focusing on her career has paid dividends, but don't dismiss a potential future with Woods.

She clearly hasn't.
"It's kind of nice to just focus on that [my final years of racing] and focus on my career, but I don't know," Vonn added. "You never know what's going to happen."
