AJ McCarron and his wife Katherine Webb-McCarron could be looking to extend their family tree.

The couple sat down and teased that they may be having children soon, going as far as to debate which college team their offspring will root for and which school they'll eventually attend. McCarron of course played quarterback for Alabama, while Webb is an Auburn alum.

So will their future children be fans of the Crimson Tide or the Tigers?

"Auburn," Webb said with a smile.

Replied McCarron: "Awful."

Webb then said, "War Eagle," while McCarron laughed and muttered, "Roll Tide."

As for the actual decision, the former Miss Alabama USA said she's fine with letting the kids figure it out for themselves.

"I'd prefer to let our kids choose where they want to go," Webb said in an interview for Coca-Cola Zero college football Rivalry Week while sitting next to her husband. "Because [AJ] had the choice. He wanted to go to Miami, but he decided on Alabama."

McCarron said his children will "definitely" be Alabama fans, and Webb said she also believed they would end up rooting for the Crimson Tide because of who their father is.

"At the same time, if they're blessed enough to receive a scholarship offer whether it's for school or athletics," McCarron said, "we're gonna also be fans of whoever's help paying for their school."

If their kids were born today, the choice of which team to support is obvious. Alabama is 10-1 this season and sits in first place in the West Division, while Auburn is 6-5 and occupies seventh place.

Regardless of which teams they root for, the McCarron kids are going to have some great genes. Their father is a backup quarterback for the Bengals, though he currently doesn't see any playing time behind Andy Dalton, and their mother is a former beauty queen.

The McCarron family will be a blessed bunch.
