Cam Newton bolstered his MVP case in a big way on Thanksgiving, leading the Panthers to a 33-14 victory over the Cowboys in Dallas with a rushing touchdown, and of course, sweet dance moves. At least Cam thinks so.

Newton has generated as much attention for his touchdown celebrations and dances as he has for his stellar play. Let’s take a look at Cam’s moves, and figure out which ones he should keep so he can get better press.

Cam Newton Is The NFL MVP, Not Tom Brady

Pushing Down + Salute + Superman

Keep It:

Cam should hang on to this celebration. The high legs plus push-down movement isn’t unique -- LeBron James has been doing it a while -- but it’s a pretty cool move that exudes dominance. Cam is definitely dominant, and a salute always gets the job done. The Superman reveal at the end, which is Cam’s signature, is one of the best celebrations in all of sports hands-down. Everything about this is dope.

Cam Newton Is A Better Role Model Than Big Ben

Dabbin’

Lose It:

It was hilarious when he dabbed on the Titans, and it did lead to these insane cleats. But the actual dab? Nah. Watch a tutorial for it … it’s pretty dumb.

This dance really is not cool. Cam has better material.

Hit Dem Folks

Keep It:

This dance has been more of a mainstay than the Dab, and Cam broke it out both against the Titans, and after his twist/swim thing on Thanksgiving. The "Hit Dem Folks" dance is a little less forced than the Dab, and gives him more freedom to customize it. Check out how it's really supposed to be done.

Giving The Ball Away

Keep It:

This is an easy one. Who doesn’t love watching a kid explode in joy when they get a ball that was used in-game? This is probably the coolest thing Cam does after his touchdowns, and thankfully for young kids with great seats in 2015 Newton’s scoring a ton of them.

Twist & Dab

Lose It:

Okay, the twist made me laugh. But it was a painful dance move, and he could’ve saved it with his underwater move, but he didn’t put much passion into it. Cam was already thinking about his dab, which we’ve determined is mediocre. Good chuckle, but he can remove this from consideration for future scores.
