Vanderbilt and Kansas clash in the championship of the Maui Invitational on Thanksgiving Eve.

The No. 19 Commodores enter the finals of the bracket Wednesday with a perfect 4-0 record, while the fifth-seeded Jayhawks roll in with a 3-1 mark.

This will be the first time these two offensive juggernauts clash since 1997 -- 18 years ago.

--Vanderbilt is outscoring opponents by an average of 28.2 points and is coming off of an 88-64 victory over Wake Forest in the semifinals. Kansas has averaged 99.3 points and rolls in off of a 92-73 drubbing over UCLA in the last round.

--The Commodores are facing a top 25 team for the first time in 2015-16 and are winless in their last eight games against such a foe. The team knows how big of a statement a win would be.

"It would be huge for us going into the season, having that under our belt," center Damian Jones told ESPN. "It would really help our confidence going into conference play."

--Perry Ellis leads Kansas with 18 points per game and a 60% field-goal percentage. Wade Baldwin (14, 53.3) paces Vanderbilt in those same categories.
