Nikki Bella is hell-bent on winning back the Divas Championship, but her absence from the WWE has given the company a golden opportunity to find new stars.

The longest Divas Champion in the history of the WWE has been sidelined with a neck injury, but she revealed on Twitter that she's determined to return and take back the gold. Bella held the title from November 2014 until this past September's Night of Champions event when she lost it to Charlotte, ending her run at 301 days.

WWE Hall Of Famer Justly Lashes Out At Divas Revolution

The WWE's Divas Revolution has been stagnant, but with Charlotte on top as the new champion, Paige on the cusp of becoming the top heel in the division in Bella's absence and Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch looking like future main eventers, there's no rush for Bella to get back into the squared circle.

While that can be a mean premise, Bella should focus on healing as her injury gives the WWE a chance to explore just what it has in its Divas division. The Divas Revolution has been plagued with myriad problems.

Possible Outcomes To Reigns vs. Sheamus At TLC

It was originally a breath of fresh air to see Charlotte win the gold, but her babyface act isn't always working as the WWE is too reliant on who her father is. In case you live under a rock, she's the daughter of Ric Flair. Charlotte also gets a little too emotional at times when she should be more intense when it comes to cutting promos.

As for Paige, her heel turn was interesting at first, but the WWE has neutered her by having her tap out twice cleanly in the middle of the ring since her character change, rather than protect her.

When it comes to Banks and Lynch, both of those ladies look like they have the potential to run the division someday, but the WWE rarely gives them a chance to shine on television. Their match against each other on RAW this week was a little over two minutes in length.

With Bella sidelined, the WWE has a chance to explore its options for the future. She's likely itching to get back into the squared circle, but she should heal up, enjoy some time with boyfriend John Cena, and come back at full strength to a division that will hopefully be full of better groomed contenders.
