Apparently Johnny Manziel doesn't know what he was doing this past weekend.

Videos surfaced online Monday that were believed to be taken at a nightclub in Austin, Tex., on Friday and depicted Manziel rapping and boozing with some friends. The Browns were on a bye week, so it would be all well and fine if it wasn't for Johnny Football checking himself into a treatment center for excessive partying earlier this year.

Johnny Manziel Showing That Rehab Didn't Work For Him

When the Browns quarterback was approached by the media about the subject on Monday, he didn't confirm or deny what he did this weekend, but took the defense that "videos can be old."

"You know there's all kinds of people that come out,'' Manziel said, according to Cleveland.com. "Videos can be old. Videos can be all kinds of different things. So like I said, I'm not in a state to be able to speak on it because my focus has been on this today and what really matters in this game on Monday. So that's where my focus has been. I did get a chance to relax. So I haven't seen anything like that, and I'm not going to be able to speculate on it right now."

Manziel also couldn't confirm that the video was old.

"I haven't seen it, so I can't speak on it," he said.

Well Johnny, either you were out at a club having a champagne celebration this weekend or you weren't. What does a video have to do with that?

It's hard to believe Manziel wasn't out partying now because if he wasn't boozing at the club, saying he can't confirm it because he hasn't seen the video is a much worse tactic to take than telling the actual truth.

Browns coach Mike Pettine appears to have his beliefs that Manziel fell off the wagon after going to rehab in February. The coach has benched Manziel for Monday's game against the Ravens.

"I can't stand here and say it's not disappointing," Pettine told TMZ while noting that it was "frustrating" and the team is still investigating it.
