Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian were taking steps that seemed to suggest different things for their trouble marriage on Friday, according to TMZ.
With the couple's four-year anniversary coming up this weekend, TMZ reported Odom had withdrawn a massive amount of cash this week and planned to spend "well over $100,000" on an anniversary gift for his estranged his wife.
TMZ added Odom returned to L.A. from nearby Palm Springs on Thursday, where he reportedly had been holed up "with two women on a crack binge," and has told friends he wants to take the reality TV star on a trip to Santa Barbara to celebrate their fourth anniversary and spend the night.
Kardashian, meanwhile, has been busy removing her husband's last name from her official Twitter account. Kardashian's account used to be labeled Khloe Kardashian Odom, but now simply tweets under the handle of Khloe. Kardashian also dropped Odom's last name from her Instagram account last week.
After spending last season with the L.A. Clippers, Odom is now a free agent and finds himself a man with not many options given all his summer troubles. After expressing some interest in bringing him back, the Clippers have since moved on and signed veteran forward Antawn Jamison.
Odom has been dogged over the last several months by allegations of infidelities and "hardcore" drug addiction. He was also recently arrested on a DUI charge that could end in jail time.
