Dale Earnhardt Jr. is taking the end of his NASCAR season in stride, and he seems to be having one hell of a time.

The No. 88 Hendricks Motorsports driver didn't crack the top 10 in the Sprint Cup standings, so now he has plenty of downtime to relax. Earnhardt, however, wasn't exactly taking it easy, as he decided to have some fun after finishing 12th in the Sprint Cup standings.

Fans of the "Pied Piper" of Daytona lived vicariously through him on his Twitter feed Monday as he tweeted that it was "time for a beer" then showed off his daredevil tendencies by hitting a killer cannon ball into his pool off of the second floor of his house. Making it even better, the feat was shown in slow motion to reveal just how big of a descent it was into the pool.

Earnhardt stuck the landing in style.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Contemplates His Future In NASCAR

The legendary driver likely has a busy offseason ahead of him aside from swigging beers and jumping into pools. Earnhardt got engaged to Amy Reimann in June, but he and his fiancée don't have a date planned as of yet.

"We haven't [set a date]," Earnhardt told TMZ outside of the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" set in September. "We were waiting on the [NASCAR] schedule to come out and I haven't seen it yet."

Earnhardt told the affiliate that Reimann "gets to make those decisions," but now that the offseason is in full swing, it looks like they can make some choices for their wedding together.

Or, he can continue to crack beers and jump into the pool like a boss.
