Johnny Manziel played arguably his best game two weeks ago in a Browns loss to the Steelers. And apparently went out to celebrate.

Manziel was video recorded at a nightclub in Austin, Texas, on Friday night with a bottle of champagne in his hand, TMZ Sports reported.

Johnny Manziel Drama Might Be Lessened If Browns Signed Tim Tebow

The Cleveland quarterback, who turns 23 next month, at the very least doesn't appear to care that he's being recorded with a bottle in his hand. And it seems entirely possible that he was drinking to the point of intoxication.

It was apparently the second of a two-night drink-fest for Manziel, according to TMZ.

Browns WR Travis Benjamin Suggests Team Could Take Off With Right Coaching Staff

"Multiple sources tell us ... Manziel started off his bye week festivities at RIO Rooftop nightclub in Austin on Thursday night ... where witnesses say he partied and boozed with friends all night long.

"The next night, he hit up Summit -- where he grabbed champagne and kept the party rolling. Witnesses tell us the bottle wasn't just a prop ... he was boozing there, too."

While it's important to note that Manziel didn't get into any trouble, it does pose an issue for the Browns in that he reverted back to his partying ways and his acts of entitlement after the team named him its starter for the rest of the season.

Manziel completed 33-of-45 passes for 372 yards with a touchdown and an interception against Pittsburgh on Nov. 8.

He entered a rehab facility in the offseason after a humbling rookie season in 2014 that was highlighted by his offseason antics and his subpar play on the field. The reason for his visit never was revealed, but it's naturally assumed that Manziel would've received education on the effects of alcohol.

Last month, police were called to a scene in which Manziel and his girlfriend were pulled over on the side of the road, and both admitted they were drinking. Colleen Crowley told police Manziel hit her a couple of times, but police were unable to verify that claim.

He already was late for a team meeting once last season after reportedly being out until 1:30 a.m. drinking, Larry Brown Sports reported. But as long as there are no reports of trouble or tardiness, Manziel's bye-week actions won't be an issue, LBS added.

That point is debatable for a coach, Mike Pettine, whose job already is in jeopardy less than two years on the job.
