If anyone thought that Peyton Manning was done, they'd better think again. The 18-year vet is determined to play this weekend, according to Pro Football Talk.

"Manning is 'absolutely determined' to get himself healthy, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, doing all he can to overcome a variety of injuries, including a partially torn plantar fascia and a rib injury that, while not involving any broken bones, remains very painful. Manning firmly believes he'll play again this year," the report states.

Peyton Manning Could Ask For A Trade If He's Not Starting In 2016

If anyone follows Manning's career, you know he was not going out like that. He is too competitive to go out like the old man a lot of fans and media think he is. It is obvious he has lost a step or two, but a less than 100 percent Manning is still better that most of the quarterbacks in the league.

It's just a matter of him getting healthy and back on his feet which may be asking a lot of him, but you better believe that he is going to do everything he can to back into the line-up especially knowing the Patriots and Tom Brady are coming to town.

Broncos May Be Contributing To Peyton Manning's Breakdown

Brady, as some recall, basically called out Manning in private emails a few months ago. Even though he brushed it off, you know that had to get to him especially after what happened last year between the two teams with the Patriots blew the Broncos out.

Don't put flowers on Manning's grave yet; he might be in critical condition, but he is far from death.
