From the looks of things late Saturday night in Ohio, you'd think the world had come to an end, but no, the Buckeyes just lost a football game; their first in over a year.

After OSU's surprising loss to Michigan State a few things happened; a winning streak came to an end and head coach Urban Meyer lost control of his team.

Even though the season is not over, players like Ezekiel Elliott and Cardale Jones decided it was the perfect time to announce their depature from the football team after the season was over.

"What happened today was like a bad, bad dream," Elliot said. "I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed in the play-calling. I'm disappointed in the situation we were put in. We weren't put in the right position to win this game."

You can tell by the look on Meyer's face after the game that he knew that it would only be a matter of time before the wheels came off and there was nothing he could do about it.

To the coach's credit, he took the blame for his team not playing well, but it has been a fragile situation all season.

"I was not content," Meyer told Yahoo Sports.. "...I call a lot of plays anyways. So finger will be pointed right here. And I have to do better. We didn't -- very conservative. Seemed like we were backed up a lot."

From the QB situation to apparently keeping Elliott happy all season, Meyer was dealing with a lot more than the public ever saw and Saturday, his house of cards collapsed and that may not be a bad thing.
