There seems to be no stopping the Warriors (14-0), who continue to sizzle. Golden State just disposed of the Bulls (8-4) and are now on the verge of joining two other teams who hold the all-time mark for the best start in an NBA season after capturing the NBA title the year prior.

The Warriors actually accomplished a feat with their triumph over the Bulls, tying the 1957-58 Boston Celtics for the best start in an NBA season by a defending champion. And now they have a chance to move ahead of the record books with another win against the Nuggets this Sunday.

If the Warriors notch another win at the expense of Denver, it would place them on equal footing with two ballclubs who achieved a similar feat. These were the 1948-49 Washington Capitals and the 1993-94 Houston Rockets per a report by USA Today.

And apparently the Warriors are aware of what lies ahead and from all indications, the team is going for it.

"It would be a huge accomplishment, because obviously doing something that hasn't been done in the history of the league is special, but you never know if this opportunity will come back again,” says Warriors guard Steph Curry when asked about the predicament they are in.

In a separate report from Stuff.co.nz, Draymond Green admits that the record is indeed on their minds and from the looks of it, winning another game comes with added pressure.

"All you're doing now is thinking about winning one game," he said. "That's what we'd be doing anyway."

Seeing how the Warriors are rolling it seems that the chances of them getting over the Nuggets are looking good. However the fact remains that they need to stay focused since records like these don’t come everyday.
