Tim Tebow just can't stay off the football field. Rejoice, he has returned to the gridiron.

The former Heisman Trophy winner shared a photo on Instagram that depicted him flashing an ear-to-ear smile as he stopped to pose for a snapshot with his brothers and sisters in the midst of a family football game. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the former NFL quarterback properly dubbed the friendly game as the Turkey Bowl.

Tebow has been looking forward to Thanksgiving for weeks, as he shared a photo of him embracing his adorable god daughter and niece, Brynn, last week, using the hashtag #tbt, meaning throwback Thursday.

"Can't wait for Thanksgiving & hang'in with the fam!" Tebow wrote in the image's caption.

5 Mind-Blowing Facts About Tim Tebow's Girlfriend

Thanksgiving week is already in full swing and for Tebow, it meant returning the game he loves with his sisters Katie and Christy and his brothers Robby and Peter. While the two-time BCS national champion has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, one of them is not a job in the NFL.

The journeyman's last stop took him to Philadelphia this past offseason, but he was unceremoniously cut by the Eagles in September after the team's final preseason game. The inconsistent Eagles are 4-5 without him this season.

Tebow is still waiting around for another job in the league in hopes of continuing his dream of playing in the NFL.

One thing he should be thankful for, however, is Olivia Culpo. The stunning 2012 Miss Universe winner has been romantically linked to Tebow for months now, making him one lucky man. The quarterback is a devout Christian, so there isn't any hanky panky going on, but both appear to be very happy with each other.

It's unknown whether the couple plans to spend Thanksgiving together, but it appears the model and beauty queen was nowhere to be found when the Tebow family Turkey Bowl was going on.

The holiday may prove to be even greater for Tebow if the Eagles fall to the Lions. Or if another Thanksgiving butt fumble awaits Mark Sanchez.
