In a not-at-all-surprising development, reality television star Khloe Kardashian took advantage of another opportunity to get in front of a camera to talk about her harrowing ordeal over Lamar Odom's health problems.

But she sounds as if she is running out of things to say.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star told NBC's "Today" that those first responsible for Odom's care when he was hospitalized after having a stroke from a weeklong stay at a Nevada brothel told her that Odom only had hours to live, according to People magazine.

Four hours, to be exact.

"They told me he had four hours," Kardashian said. "It's a horrible call to get," Kardashian said to "Today's" Natalie Morales. "Getting to the hospital and knowing he's in a coma and having to run these tests or make medical decisions -- it's terrifying.

"You have to make risk-and-reward decisions. Like, okay, well, there's an 80 percent chance if we do this operation, he might pass away. But also if we don't do it, there's a 90 percent chance he'll pass away. Just having to make these executive decisions is really hard, I think on anybody. So it was definitely probably one of the most emotionally stressful times ever in my life."

Kardashian was not asked how doctors came up with the four-hour formula. She also was asked about her decision to halt the divorce proceedings. She said she originally had asked to expedite their divorce proceedings and that she was not expediting them anymore.

Which is another odd statement, considering that Kardashian originally filed for divorce in December of 2013 but neither she nor Odom followed up on the original filing and a judge threatened to dismiss the divorce proceedings in May.

But it was a chance for Kardashian to get more airtime to promote herself and her book, "Strong Looks Better Naked."
