If she has any acting skills whatsoever, Ronda Rousey will quit her day job.

That's what UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo believes, according to mmafighting.com.

The Brazilian fighter, speaking at his gym, Nova Uniao, said he believes Rousey will learn to appreciate being able to make money and earn fame without anyone -- or everyone -- trying to pummel her into submission.

"I think it's really hard for her to return to fighting," Aldo said. "Her career has taken a different direction. If I'm making a lot of money doing movies or something else, I'd go that direction, too. Am I going to mess my face up getting punched in the face? You're crazy [laughs]. In my opinion, I don't think (she fights again). If she comes back, of course she can (win the title). She was always a fighter, but if I were her, I wouldn't come back."

Ronda Rousey Lashes Out At Media Who Suggest She May Have Been Guilty Of Domestic Violence

Rousey will play the lead role in "Mile 22," an action film from a script by Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg, which starts filming in February, according to Fox Sports Australia. The ex-champion will then embark on a remake of "Road House," a 1989 movie about a bouncer, starring Patrick Swayze, and a movie based on her life called "My Fight/Your Fight" at the end of 2016.

Rousey hired an acting coach to help her prepare for the roles, Fox Sports Australia reported.

"I work hard at everything -- I don't do anything to be mediocre," she said. "... I'm excited to see what I am capable of when I can devote myself 100 percent to that space.

"I started acting while competing because I don't want to have a point where I stop fighting and I have to start from scratch. I want to get to a point where when I stop fighting. I have enough experience in acting to be able to do it full time."

Fox Sports Australia took that as a sign to suggest that her MMA career already is "winding down."

Aldo concurs.

"I see this as Gina's situation," said Aldo, comparing Rousey's loss to Cris Cyborg's win over Gina Carano at Strikeforce. "Gina was a great fighter and went her way to become an actress after she lost to Cyborg, and she's getting more attention than if she was still fighting. No diet, not getting punched in the face, nothing."

Remember also that Rousey was becoming increasingly agitated over media claims that she may have been guilty of domestic violence over a story she told about busting her ex-boyfriend for shooting naked photos of her.

It's hard to believe that Rousey wouldn't at least try to avenge her loss to Holm before she quits, but then again, it's hard to imagine whether she had ever suffered such a beating before last weekend.
