Give Lolo Jones a social media platform, and she's going to speak her mind -- no matter how goofy she sounds.
A participant in both the Summer (hurdles) and Winter Olympics (bobsled) for the U.S., Jones went after retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather for his defense of dethroned UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, christianpost.com reported.
Holly Holm Feels Sorry For Ronda Rousey Over Social Media Trolling
After Rousey was pummeled by underdog Holly Holm at UFC 193, she has been pummeled on regular and social media by those who believe her to be too arrogant. Mayweather, who has been a target of Rousey's verbal attacks because of his issues with domestic violence, made a somewhat surprising comment in support of Rousey.
"I don't think it's cool how everyone is trolling her on social media. Certain things you have to learn," Mayweather told Fight Hype. "People will love you on Friday and then Sunday morning, it's nothing but negative comments and people making jokes and people making fun about you, which I don't think is cool. I'm pretty sure she's a very, very strong person, but we still have to take into consideration that she has feelings."
Drugged Up Lolo Jones Begs For Husband But Asks Bill Cosby To Stay Away
It wasn't the defense of Rousey that riled up Jones, but rather the double-standard he employed in supporting Rousey after he trolled Manny Pacquiao in 2013 after Pacquiao suffered a knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012.
Jones took offense.
