Ciara and Russell Wilson aren't exactly racing to the bedroom, but it may be more than just religious beliefs holding the couple back.

The Seahawks quarterback, who is a devout Christian, took a vow of celibacy due to his personal beliefs, but his pop star girlfriend also admitted to having "mommy guilt" from her first child. This news may pump the brakes on their relations even further.

Ciara Responsible For Seahawks' Red Zone Failures

Ciara is very busy with touring and her career, leading to her missing out on a lot of her 19-month old toddler Future's development thus far. The 30-year-old singer revealed she feels guilty when she spends time away from her son, whom she gave birth to during her past relationship with rapper Future.

"I think sometimes I don't want to miss out on whatever cool moment that could happen," Ciara told AOL. "Because every day is something new."

Ciara's Sexy Mexico Pictures Testing Russell Wilson's Will

Ciara's relationship with Wilson and his role in her son's life was an issue with her rapper ex-boyfriend, but it doesn't appear to be a problem anymore. The quarterback and singer vacationed together in Mexico earlier this month and the singer's son was also on the trip, posing for pictures with the two.

"I have to say, life at home is pretty sweet," Ciara said. "And everything flows very smooth. And I'm very happy."

Despite feeling "mommy guilt," Ciara also said having a son "has made me make more sound decisions and allows me to be way more grounded with everything."

Ciara also added that her son helps inspire her to work harder, even if that means spending time away from him. Still, she likely doesn't want to repeat that "mommy guilt," which means consummating her relationship with Wilson may be on hold for a while.

With the "Dance Like We're Making Love Singer" already missing out on a lot of Future's development, she's likely in no rush to have another kid with her career still booming and busier than ever.

Hopefully Wilson and Ciara's patience will continue to lead to their happiness.
