Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford not only suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins but he has separated his shoulder.

But despite his injuries, there is still no word on whether or not he'll play Sunday according to NJ.com who quoted Chip Kelly as saying: "I get 'cleared' or 'not cleared'," Kelly said. "He hasn't been able to do anything because he hasn't cleared the concussion protocol," Kelly said, "so we don't know."

Rumor has it that Bradford still wants to play despite the bad shoulder. His separated shoulder is not his throwing shoulder which is the good news for the Eagles, so may be able to recover quickly.

No one should be surprised by Bradford's injuries because he has been injury prone throughout his whole NFL career. That's way it was a shocked that Kelly took a chance on Bradford to run his offense which has gone no where.

Ironically, Nick Foles who was the quarterback of the Eagles last year who is now with the St. Louis Rams, is being benched.

So, obviously the trade of the quarterbacks didn't do anything to help either team, but at least Foles is healthy.

If Case Keenum has a bad game Sunday, Foles can step right up and play. The same cannot be said for Bradford. He might be sitting for awhile and that's not good news for the Eagles who continue to struggle.

Mark Sanchez is a serviceable quarterback, but it's going to take more than a serviceable quarterback if the Eagles want to make the playoffs and right now, they don't have that.
