LSU head coach Les Miles may be in trouble. Reports out of Baton Rouge are that if LSU loses their last two games to Ole Miss and to Texas A&M, he may be out as head coach according to Scott Rabalais who is the LSU beat reporter for The Advocate.

Rabalais has been covering the Tigers for a long time and his inside sources tell him Miles is done if he doesn't get the ship back on course.

"It's early yet, relatively speaking, and as can be expected, no one is eager to go public regarding Miles' future at this point. But 25 years of covering LSU, cultivating a variety of knowledgeable sources, have led this writer to believe that there is a serious threat to Miles' tenure here."

The reason why Miles is in trouble is that the Tigers haven't really shown that much improvement since losing to Alabama in the national championship game a few years ago.

Just like this year's game, the Tigers rolled into the national championship game undefeated and got stomped by the Tide.

Since then, they've lost five straight to the Tide and throw in a few loses to Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Auburn over the years, and you have a team that if they lose the next two, will have an overall conference record of 13-11.

Some may think it's insane to fire a coach with 78 percent winning percentage, but the problem isn't the lack of wins, it's the loses that are starting to add up.

Just a few weeks ago, this team was the No. 2 team in the country with the best player in the country or so we thought. But in the last two weeks, the Tigers defense has given up a combined 60 points to both Arkansas and Alabama, not to mention the fact that they look very pedestrian on offense when Leonard Fournette isn't running the football.

Tiger fans and apparently the LSU administration are tired of losing to their rivals and if they don't get it together in the next two weeks, you may be looking at a new head coach in Baton Rouge.
