The match was on the verge of being postponed, but both federations decided it was best to show solidarity amid chaos in Europe.

"The match tomorrow [Tuesday] is going to have massive global significance," said Martin Glenn, chief executive of England's Football Association, per Fox Sports. "It's the first big event to happen since the tragedy of last Friday.

"The eyes of the world will be on Wembley."
