Now that she's no longer the UFC women's bantamweight champion, perhaps Ronda Rousey should set her sights on some new gold -- the WWE Divas Championship.

"Rowdy" is an avid wrestling fan and has revealed that when she hangs it up for good in the Octagon, she'd love a chance to shine in the squared circle. Maybe after her devastating knockout against Holly Holm, that time is now.

Holm handed Rousey her first UFC defeat when she knocked her out at UFC 193 in Australia on Saturday night, and while her career is likely far from over, it could be time to venture over into the staged world of sports entertainment. Rousey is now 12-1 in the UFC following a loss that dwarfed The Undertaker's defeat to Brock Lesnar that ended his WrestleMania streak in shock value.

The loss to Holm was the one time that Rousey couldn't back up her trash talk. Though it would be tough to see her career end with such a devastating loss, the hype behind her is sure to die down a little now that she lost her first fight.

Maybe the embarrassment of defeat will allow for the MMA fighter to expand her horizons. She already physically got involved at WrestleMania 31, when she joined up with The Rock to take out WWE power couple Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

Since that moment, Rousey has been clamoring to return to the WWE and she is currently enjoying the Divas Revolution.

"I'm really encouraged by the progress I've seen with what they're doing with the women in WWE, but I feel like there's a lot more than can be done," Rousey told Rolling Stone earlier this month. "They're doing some of it now, too. I'm really excited that they've brought up all these great women from NXT, who are all different from the normal mold they would use for the Divas division. I'm not going to take credit for anything, but I definitely want to be part of it as much as I can."

Though a WWE career could make sense for Rousey, she vowed that she will return to the UFC after taking some time away from the promotion in an Instagram post following the fight.

Rousey may want to return to the Octagon, but she should at least consider venturing into sports entertainment.
