Miley Cyrus To Accompany Floyd Mayweather At Next Fight? 'Money' Explains Justin Bieber Presence; 'He's The Future' [VIDEO]

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is dominating boxing so thoroughly that who he is fighting next might be becoming less interesting than who is accompanying him to the ring.

Speaking with Billboard.com, Mayweather is already thinking about which celebrities will be part of his entrance entourage when he fights again. "I was thinking about letting the twerk queen Miley Cyrus bring me out, why not?," Mayweather said.

For his most recent bout, the highest-grossing match in boxing history that netted Floyd $41 million before any pay-per-view cuts were doled out, he was flanked by pop star Justin Bieber and rap luminary Lil Wayne, who performed while Mayweather sauntered toward the squared circle.

Mayweather was accompanied by Bieber in the past as well, when Mayweather faced Miguel Cotto in 2012. When asked why he likes having the baby faced pop crooner by his side, Mayweather's response was matter-of-fact.

"When you're the best, you only want to surround yourself with the best," Mayweather said. "He's an exceptional artist. He's the future."

Mayweather's fights are becoming spectacles of increasingly gaudy stature, but to keep the money train rolling he will need to continue fighting opponents that generate public interest. At the moment, Floyd appears to have run out of legitimate challengers near his weight. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez was expected to provide the stiffest test of his career, but the young pugilist proved he was out of his league against the best the world has to offer.

Currently Danny Garcia, who defeated knockout artist Lucas Matthysse on the Mayweather undercard, and Amir Khan, a fast-handed British boxer who needs to win his next bout are the likely candidates for Mayweather's next fight. Both are respected fighters, but neither is as highly regarded as Alvarez was.

Some have speculated his next move may be to conquer middleweights, but the top name in that division, Sergio Martinez, is hobbled by injuries and contracted to fight on HBO.
