"The Beast" could collide with "The Animal" at WrestleMania 32.

There are several questions surrounding what Brock Lesnar's role will be at the "Show of Shows" at AT&T Stadium in Texas on April, 3, 2016. Now that his trilogy with The Undertaker is over, "The Beast" is set to start a new program, but it remains to be seen who he'll stare across the ring at when WrestleMania rolls around.

WWE Hall of Fame announcer Jim Ross has someone in mind for Lesnar's next opponent: Batista.

"Hey, I got an idea for you: what about Batista, the heel, coming back and taking on Brock Lesnar, the babyface, at WrestleMania [32] in April [2016] in Dallas [Texas]?" Ross said on his 'Ross Report' podcast, according to WrestlingInc. "I could live with that main event. A red-hot Batista coming back and urinating all over the fans and being a big star and being very arrogant and full of himself and being a bad ass, believing his [newspaper] clippings and he wants to take on the biggest dog in the yard. I don't dislike that match."

5 WrestleMania Opponents For Triple H

Batista hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since the summer of 2014 after his return to action ultimately didn't play out as it was intended to. "The Animal" predictably won the Royal Rumble Match in January 2014 and was slated to dethrone then-champion Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXX.

When the WWE Universe crapped all over that idea, the company went back to the drawing board and devised a way for Daniel Bryan to leave New Orleans as the champion. Batista still has a working relationship with the promotion, but he badmouthed the company on several occasions for reneging on the title reign they promised him.

The six-time WWE Champion went on a supposed temporary hiatus from the organization in June 2014 to promote "Guardians of the Galaxy," but after his acting career took off and the company spurned him, he didn't return. "The Animal" said he's still open to eventually coming back, but there appears to be some bad blood there.

With the WWE having a very limited number of Superstars who could provide a realistic challenge for Lesnar, Batista would actually make a great choice. The hulking 6-foot-6, 278 pounder would make a formidable foe to the 6-foot-3, 286 pound Lesnar. The fans are already cheering for "The Beast" as it is, so WWE might as well make him a full-blown babyface.

Vince McMahon's company needs a huge attraction for WrestleMania 32, and Batista vs. Lesnar could very well tear down the house that Jerry built.
