Dolph Ziggler has never been shy about expressing his unhappiness at times with his role in the WWE, and it appears he's back at it again.

"The Showoff" authored a cryptic tweet on his official Twitter account, using lyrics to the song "18 and Life" by Skidrow and tagging WWE executive Triple H, Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and wrestling legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the bizarre post.

Sasha Banks Getting Into Trouble With Social Media

Ziggler's tweet appears to be hinting at his distress in the company, and even sights that Triple H, Austin and The Rock were all once as hungry as him during the Attitude Era and wouldn't "accept their fate" by being buried on the card. Ziggler is a two-time Heavyweight Champion, but his first reign was short-lived and his second was cut short due to injury.

The four-time Intercontinental Champion hasn't held a Heavyweight Championship since 2013 and he's been sauntered down the card while being shouldered with bad storylines ever since. Ziggler is a solid in-ring performer and has a ton of charisma, but the WWE hasn't given him another shot with its richest prize in the last few years.

WWE Bucking Tradition, Ruining Major Survivor Series Angle

Ziggler was showcased last year at the Survivor Series when he overcame a 3-on-1 deficit against Team Authority and came from behind to win the bout with the help of Sting. Since then, he's toiled in the midcard, most recently engaging in a lame feud with Rusev that focused more on Summer Rae and Lana.

Now, Ziggler is being used in a rivalry with newcomer Tyler Breeze, who just made his debut from NXT on Oct. 22. The decade-long WWE star has openly complained about his role in the organization several times throughout the years, and this seems to be his latest display of unhappiness.

The WWE Superstar did defeat The Miz on RAW this week to advance in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament, but it's likely he'll fall to Dean Ambrose in the quarterfinals.

The head honchos in the WWE are unlikely to buckle over a social media post, but Ziggler's antics may continue to do more harm than good.
