LIONS vs REDSKINS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Week 3 Live Coverage from Washington D.C.

Today at 1:00 p.m. Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins (0-2) will try to avoid falling to 0-3 in the vulnerable NFC East at home against the Detroit Lions (1-1). Live stream the action here; Lions fans can hear the game by listening to 97.1 The Ticket, while Redskins fans can do the same in ESPN 980.

RGIII has looked shaky in the first halves of Washington's two losses this season, and concerns about his health haven't been allayed by his lack of rushing attempts. Through two weeks Griffin hasn't cracked 30 yards on the ground, nor has one designed run been called for the electric quarterback.

Griffin says he's trying to be more careful, but he's also willing to do whatever is necessary to get the Redskins back in the win column. "It's not that I want to run more, I just feel like that's what we need," he said. "If that's what it takes to win games, then I'm willing to do that."

Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan says the lack of runs for RGIII have nothing to do with uncertainty about his knee, but rather the large deficits Washington has faced early in games.

"We've got a lot of confidence in Robert," said Shanahan. "Anytime you start out a little bit slow and we're down as many points as we've been down and we get to a two-minute attack a little bit earlier than we would like to, you probably put people in the toughest situation you can."

The Redskins defense has been among the NFL's worst this year, but may catch a break due to a knee injury to Lions running back Reggie Bush. He got hurt early in last week's loss and without Bush, Detroit went scoreless in the second half.
