If "Stone Cold" Steve Austin returns to the WWE, his first opponent could very well be Bill Goldberg.

Or maybe, the two could embark in a beer drinking contest.

The "Texas Rattlesnake" fired back at the former WCW and WWE Heavyweight Champion after he publicly said Austin didn't really drink his beer during his many suds-soaked celebrations in the squared circle.

"He's full of s--t," Austin told TMZ. "I'll tell you what, about 50 percent of that beer went in, about 50 percent went on. That's the showbiz part of it."

Austin revealed he left the ring many times with a "pretty good buzz" and that he got Goldberg drunk in the squared circle a few times. Goldberg, who has publicly blasted the WWE and said he had a "crappy" time there, revealed that if he were ever to return to the company, he'd like to face-off with Austin.

The six-time WWE Champion wasn't overly angry, adding that he "loves Bill," and is "great friends" with him. Still, Goldberg managed to raise the ire of "Stone Cold" when he questioned his alcohol intake, leading to Austin inviting Goldberg to sit down at a table and have a drinking contest with him.

Austin has been rumored to come out of retirement, but at age 50, he has vehemently denied any involvement in returning to Vince McMahon's company in an active role. However, that doesn't mean he isn't down for a beer drinking contest.

Perhaps Goldberg and Austin could partake in a chugging war at WrestleMania 32 in Austin's home state of Texas at AT&T Stadium.

How does Austin like Goldberg's chances if such a competition would occur?

"He wouldn't have a snow ball's chance in hell," Austin said.
