Following Seth Rollins' devastating injury, the WWE will crown a new World Heavyweight Champion at Survivor Series.

"The Architect" suffered a torn MCL and ACL and will be sidelined for 6-9 months due to the injury after sustaining it during a bout with Kane in Dublin, Ireland. The company revealed that a tournament to crown a new champion will take place at Survivor Series, but further details have yet to be released.

The Undertaker's Five Best Survivor Series Moments

Here are five Superstars who could very well leave the Philips Arena in Atlanta with the richest prize in the WWE on Nov. 22 at the Survivor Series. To view this article in slideshow form, CLICK START at the top right of this page.

Honorable Mentions: Daniel Bryan, Sheamus (cash-in possibly?) and Alberto Del Rio. Guys like Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt are interesting, but long shots.

The Deadman's 10 Greatest WWE Rivals

1) The Undertaker

The "Demon from Death Valley" will celebrate 25 years with the company, and the silver anniversary could come with some gold. 'Taker has had a legendary career, which includes seven World Heavyweight Championships, but he hasn't held the big belt since 2009. Though he seems to be earmarked for some sort of traditional tag match with The Wyatt Family, the plans may be altered due to Rollins' injury. The Undertaker has given his all to the WWE and he may be rewarded in earnest with one final run atop the company.

2) Roman Reigns

It's no secret that the WWE is high on the leader of the Roman Empire and though his mega push was altered last March at WrestleMania 31, he could still be getting set for big things in the future. Reigns was the No. 1 contender for Rollins' title prior to the injury, and it seemed probable that he could have been set to dethrone his former Shield brethren at the WWE's Thanksgiving Week tradition, but now we'll never know. With Vince McMahon huge on Reigns, it wouldn't be surprising to see him stand tall.

3) Dean Ambrose

It seems highly unlikely that the company will push the "Lunatic Fringe," but he has a decent shot of leaving the WWE's November Staple with some gold in tow. The WWE loves to pull swerves at the Survivor Series and one of the most notable ones occurred the last time a tournament was held at this event. In 1998, The Rock shockingly turned heel to capture the WWE Championship for the first time. Something similar could occur with Ambrose, maybe via turning on Reigns and winning the tournament himself, to finally get him out from the shadows of his two former Shield partners.

4) Dolph Ziggler

The WWE can't hold "The Showoff" down forever, right? Ziggler has everything the company should want in a main eventer, the look, the in-ring ability, the mic skills, and yet he was stuck in a nightmarish soap opera-esque storyline with Rusev and now is feuding with Tyler Breeze. His first run with the World Championship was a joke and his second one was cut short due to an injury. Since then, Ziggler has toiled around in the midcard, while he really deserves better. If he wins, he could then spark a feud with Cena upon his return.

5) Brock Lesnar

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Though "The Beast" is expected to be absent until Royal Rumble in January, the WWE may throw some more money at him to work Survivor Series. The organizations' depth has taken huge hits with Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Rollins all sidelined and Cena taking time off. That need could thrust Paul Heyman's beast back into the fold and if Lesnar is in the tournament, he isn't losing.
