The court-appointed parenting counselor assigned to facilitate child custody issues between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife has quit the case amid claims the bitterness between the involved parties makes it impossible for him to "effectively" perform his $400 per hour duties.

According to GossipExtra.com, Howard Rosenberg made his assertions in a letter he wrote to the Miami-Dade County judge presiding over the case. The website reports psychologist Leslie Star, who was assigned to evaluate Siohvaughn Funches' mental state, has also tendered her resignation. So far, Rosenberg had made about $50,000 coordinating visitations and making sure both parents honor their time commitments with the children.

GossipExtra reports while Rosenberg didn't name names in terms of who he holds responsible, Funches' lawyers are known to have complained to authorities he often bypassed them and went to the judge directly with his concerns. The website claims at one point they complained he even attempted to change the visitation schedule for the couple's two young children behind their backs.

Though Wade and Funches have been divorced for more three years, they continue to publicly battle over issues ranging from allegations of mental illness, emotional abuse, bad parenting, missed visitations, kidnapping, and the shielding of financial assets.

It has previously been reported that Wade has spent upwards of $10 million on legal bills.
