In case you live under a rock and somehow missed it, the Royals are World Series champions.
No, it's not 1985, Kansas City won its first Fall Classic in 30 years by ousting the Mets in five games. The Royals did what they do best, came from behind, and won the decisive Game 5 on Sunday, 7-2.

Since then, they've been everywhere...literally.
The Royals invaded two late night shows on two separate coasts, which probably had the collective stomachs of Mets fans everywhere groaning at their television screens.
Mets Facing Serious Offseason Questions After World Series Defeat
On the east coast, World Series MVP Salvador Perez and Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer tortured Jimmy Fallon on the "Late Night" show Wednesday. Perez doused Fallon in an ice bath to end the show, while even Bret Saberhagen, a beloved Royal who was on the 1985 championship team, made an appearance to get his revenge on an abysmal car ad from 30 years ago. Hilarity ensued.
Out west, Mike Moustakas, Jeremy Guthrie and Drew Butera went to Los Angeles to have some fun at the expense of Jimmy Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." As it turned out, Kimmel made an ill-advised bet with "Modern Family" actor Eric Stonestreet, which resulted in the talk show host -- fully adorned in Mets garb -- getting pelted with paintballs. Ouch.
While they're hogging late night television screens, they aren't that selfish, as Lorenzo Cain won free breakfast for all at Taco Bell by swiping second base against the Mets in Game 1 of the World Series on Oct. 27. Kansas City went on to win the game, 5-4, in 14 innings. As a result of Cain being stealthy, participating Taco Bells doled out free A.M. Crunchwraps for breakfast on Thursday.
"In Game 1 of the World Series, Lorenzo Cain stole a base. But really, he stole breakfast for all of America," Taco Bell's website reads.
The Royal exposure isn't limited to just breakfast. Kansas City fans came out in droves for the team's parade on Tuesday and were greeted by an "un-politically correct" Jonny Gomes, who didn't even play a single inning during the postseason run.
"Y'all wanna be politically correct? I'm an un-politically correct person. We whooped their ass!" he exclaimed before dropping the microphone.
The Royals have been surfacing all over the place since clinching their second World Series title in franchise history, but don't worry America -- especially New York -- it'll all be over soon.
