Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian Update: Source Says Angry Ex-NBA Star Told Wife To 'Get Out' [VIDEO]

The conflicting stories about Khloe Kardashian's role in Lamar Odom's recovery continue.

Odom was dismayed to find out that his wife, the reality television star, prevented his children from visiting him -- even though she was the one who paid to have Odom's family fly out to see him in the hospital, Us Magazine reports.

Khloe Kardashian Wants To Take Her Husband To Watch Her Boyfriend Play Basketball

One source told the magazine that Odom reached a tipping point in Kardashian controlling the situation. The issue of Khloe using Lamar to elevate her own fame also came up.

"Lamar said he needed space and wanted to be alone," a source tells Us. "He told her to get out."

Five Reasons Khloe Kardashian Is Leading On Lamar Odom

Another source close to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star denied to the magazine that Odom said that or that she was keeping his kids -- or anyone else -- away, OK was quick to point out.

Both sides of the story appear to have merit. Kardashian's interest in her husband appears genuine. She has on several occasions talked about her deep and continued feelings for Lamar, despite their separation and near divorce.

That she rushed to be at his bedside and make decisions for him isn't difficult to believe.

Kardashian, however, also was quick to make public the fact that she put a halt to their divorce proceedings -- for no apparent reason -- and then was quick to correct those who assumed her actions meant she was going back with Odom.

It could be argued that she halted the divorce proceedings so she could maintain control over Odom's recovery. She also has left Odom to watch boyfriend James Harden play basketball, and Odom may be realizing that Kardashian plans to leave him for Harden once he is strong enough to take care of himself.

It's a messy situation for all involved.
