Clearly feeling her actions, Williams took to Instagram to show off her superhero pose.

As heroic as Williams feels, however, it doesn’t negate the fact that her actions were dangerous to say the least. As a commenter later pointed out on her Facebook, Williams was lucky to escape unscathed.

"Ok ladies don't be stupid and chase every man," wrote Jewel Macauley, per CNN. "In this situation it turned out well. Another case might be different if this person carried a weapon. Your life is more precious than your material goods.

"In saying that, I applaud you for standing up for what is right. So well done super Serena."

Fortunate to avoid a physical confrontation, Williams will make her return to action at the Hopman Cup in Australia in Jan. 2016.
