Things To Watch
--In two career playoff starts and four appearances, Young owns a 1.45 career postseason ERA. The right-hander threw 53 pitches out of relief in Game 2. Matz, a Long Island, N.Y. native, was on the rubber when the Mets clinched the NLCS against the Cubs, but he was pulled after 4 2/3 innings despite being sharp and striking out four.
--In Game 3, David Wright drove in four runs and hit a homer in his first at-bat for the Mets, while Curtis Granderson also went deep.
--In the Game 3 loss, Eric Hosmer drove in his fifth RBI, which leads all players in the World Series.
