Tim Tebow News: Giants Call Prince Amukamura 'The Black Tim Tebow'? [VIDEO] Big Blue CB A Virgin?

What do Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow have in common? Apparently a lot if you ask Amukamara's teammates, who refer to the corner as the "black Tim Tebow," according to a story in Muscle & Fitness Magazine.

"Yeah, some people call me the Black Tim Tebow," Amukamara admitted to the publication.

Amukamara also admitted that he does have a lot in common with Tebow, who was cut from the Patriots during the preseason this year and hasn't landed a new team in the NFL, such as not drinking any alcohol throughout his life and committing himself to celibacy.

"Yeah, I am a virgin. I'm not ashamed to say that," he told the magazine.

Amukamara told Muscle & Fitness that he takes pride in not drinking any alcohol and that his character traits have led some of his teammates putt the black Tim Tebow moniker on him.

Amukamara, who is actually of royalty according to the magazine, also recently got engaged according to CBS Sports, and has his teammates Corey Webster and Aaron Ross to thank for it, as the story goes.

"We met in New York," Amukamara said of his fiancee, according to CBS Sports. "We were out dancing. I was just drawn to her. ... I said, 'Are you waiting for someone?' And she said, 'Yeah.'

It didn't end there for Amukamara.

"So I didn't know what else to say after that so I started walking away," he continued per CBS Sports. "But my teammates, Corey Webster and Aaron Ross, made me go back. They were like, 'Go say something to her!' And they were cheering me on."

Amukamara added: "She thought we were all rowdy and drunk and she didn't pay us any attention. Then, later, I was waiting for Ahmad [Bradshaw] and she came by and we struck up a conversation. I asked her for her email address because when someone asks for your number, it might be too personal and you might not want to give it. But if you ask for their e-mail address, they'll give it. I was right."

Amukamara also talked with the magazine at length about the controversy surrounding the team dumping him in an ice bath, which the cornerback insists wasn't hazing but was all done in fun. Amukamara said that Jason Pierre-Paul, who was scrutinized for what happened, was just messing around with him and the video misinterpreted the event.

While Amukamara has a lot going on off the field, the Giants need to get it going on the field after an 0-2 start to this season following back-to-back losses to the Dallas Cowboys and then the Denver Broncos last Sunday.

Amukamara, who has played with the Giants since 2011, has 14 tackles through two games for the team this season. The Giants will look to turn around their early season woes when the team visits the Carolina Panthers in Week 3 this Sunday.
