Through the years, the Survivor Series has been a special event for The Undertaker, and this Nov. 22, the WWE celebrates 25 years of "The Deadman."

The Undertaker's 10 Greatest Rivals In His 25-Year Career

With Halloween here, it's only fitting to delve into one of the scariest characters to ever enter the WWE realm and look ahead to the WWE's Thanksgiving Week tradition by revisiting "The Demon From Death Valley's" greatest moments at the Survivor Series.

From a shocking debut to memorable clashes, here are The Undertaker's five best Survivor Series appearances.

7 Superstars Who Could Align With The Undertaker At Survivor Series

5) A Deadly Debut (1990)

On Thanksgiving Night in 1990, the Survivor Series was still all about elimination tag team action and a series of those battles highlighted the card. One of the great teases of the night saw Ted Dibiase build up a mystery partner for his Million Dollar Team, which also consisted of the Rhythm and Blues tag team. As it turned out, Mr. Moneybags brought on one of the most influential Superstars in history and The Undertaker was impressive and stoic in his debut, eliminating Koko B. Ware and Dusty Rhodes before getting counted out.

4) American Nightmare (1993)

When Tatanka was taken out on an episode of Superstars, the All American team, comprised of captain Lex Luger and The Steiner Brothers, were in search of a new partner. They looked no further than The Undertaker, who paired up with the patriotic superstars to form a formidable team. The quartet battled the Foreign Fanatics, a team led by Yokozuna and consisting of Crush, Ludvig Borga and Quebecer Jacques. Though The Undertaker was counted out of the match along with Yokozuna, it marked his first Survivor Series main event slot, and his team went on to emerge victorious.

3) Hell Raiser (2007)

One of The Undertaker's best singles bouts in his history at the Survivor Series saw him battle Batista in a Hell in a Cell match. The two behemoths threw everything they had at one another, including various finishing maneuvers, but neither man could put the other one away. After the steel steps and tables were brought into the fold, Edge made a surprise attack dressed as a cameraman, taking out The Undertaker with a steel chair to help Batista retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

2) Strive To Survive (2001)

The Undertaker was involved in a kayfabe high-stakes match that put an end to the much maligned Invasion angle as he took part in Team WWF's elimination match against The Alliance. The Undertaker helped compose one of the most star-studded Survivor Series teams in history by joining forces with The Rock, Chris Jericho, Kane and Big Show, to battle the equally-great fivesome of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Shane McMahon. 'Taker was eventually eliminated, but his team stood tall.

1) Gold For The Ghoul (1991)

Just one year after making his WWE debut, The Undertaker got a title shot against arguably the biggest name in wrestling, Hulk Hogan, at the very event in which he first burst onto the scene. With Paul Bearer in his corner and Ric Flair coming to his aid, 'Taker was able to dethrone "The Hulkster" as WWE Champion by hitting a Tombstone onto a steel chair. 'Taker would rack up seven World Championships after that win, which was the jumping-off point of his career. He lost the title six days later, but it was still one of the most shocking title changes in WWE history.
