The Jets -- just like everyone else without a Boston accent -- refuse to believe the Patriots are this good. They just took it to another level in Week 7.
Tom Brady Saved A Man's Life On Thursday
Boomer Esiason of WFAN reported on his weekday radio show that New York asked for its locker room at Gillette Stadium to be swept for bugs ahead of Sunday’s game against New England, per Pro Football Talk.
The Jets declined to comment. A source close to the situation, however, denied Esiason’s report, claiming the team made no such request.
New England Lucky The Ravens Didn't Complain About Deflategate
According to PFT the #Jets were NOT the ones who requested that the locker room be swept for bugs.

But that didn’t stop it from happening, and therein lies the problem.
This has become the Patriots’ reality in 2015. Video tape practices, deflate footballs and outsmart John Harbaugh with gimmick formations enough times, and you’ll likely be treated as the black sheep of the league.
Patriots are so thorough with their cheating they even out-cheat the other teams that try to cheat pic.twitter.com/Cqygjtzo9L

Patriots are 48-4 in their last 52 home games...geez you'd practically have to cheat to put up those kind of numbers...

#TNF Do the @Patriots cheat tonight?

Perception is reality and unfortunately for the Patriots, this is the perception surrounding them.
Every achievement will continue to be countered with a “yeah, but..” and the slightest hint of tomfoolery will be overblown and perpetuated by the media.
Lest we forget the Steelers' visit to Foxborough in Week 1.
When Steelers had the ball, Todd Haley had Patriots radio in his headset.

Then again, this is the narrative the franchise welcomed with its own wrongdoing in the first place.
