Your fantasy team has been struggling for four weeks, half-heartedly relying on Sam Bradford to carry it as Ben Roethlisberger recovered from a sprained ligament in his knee. The Steelers QB participated in practice all week, allowing you to breathe a sigh of relief.
Except you shouldn’t because Roethlisberger returning doesn’t mean you should pencil him in on Sunday.

No one -- including his own receivers -- have any idea how his knee will hold up.
“I don't know what [his knee's] feeling, but I do know he's throwing the ball well,” Darrius Heyward-Bey said, per TribLive.com. “His arm's definitely all right.”

Heyward-Bey doesn’t know what his knee’s feeling, but expect the Bengals defense to try and find out.
This isn’t to advocate injury, but it’s an old practice in the NFL to target an opponent’s weakness. Notorious for his ability to withstand pressure, Roethlisberger’s mobility and stability will be tested. The Bengals enter Sunday with 17 sacks.
Only four other teams (Broncos, Patriots, Ravens and Steelers) have accumulated more in the AFC.

Even ESPN’s fantasy “experts” are undecided on Roethlisberger’s value, per ESPN. Field Yates sees him as a strong play -- ranking him No. 3 amongst QBs -- while Matthew Berry can think of eight better options for your fantasy team to consider.
Play it safe. There’s no telling how Roethlisberger’s knee will hold up against an undefeated division leader, or if it’ll even hold up at all.
