Daniel Tosh did the impossible, he found a reason for everyone to root for the Patriots on Thursday.

Well, sort of.

Julian Edelman Can't Resist Tom Brady

The controversial and often crude comedian bet $25,000 on the first-half spread (3.5) between New England and Miami. If the Patriots cover, Tosh's $25,000 will double and be donated to fellow comedian Andy Ritchie.

Ritchie is currently battling a brain tumor and had a GoFundMe campaign launched in his name to help circumvent the cost.

Possible Replacements For Miami If Dan Campbell Isn't The Answer

As it stands, the campaign has raised $43,295. Tosh's $25,000 will go a long way in helping Ritchie reach his $100,000 goal.

Tosh just isn't about that life.

In typical fashion, he decided to potentially gamble it away.

"I only bet on the Pats to cover the first-half spread," Tosh said. "This is a can't lose. If my Dolphins are winning, I'm happy. If they're losing, Andy gets the much-needed help. If the Dolphins are only losing by three points, there is no God!

"So please, Tom Brady, for once in your life you and Bill [Belichick] use your shady, dishonest, cheating powers for good...in the first half only. In the second half, I hope you get the [expletive] kicked out of you."

As if Brady hasn't done enough in his career -- winning four Super Bowls -- he's 30 minutes away from potentially saving a man's life.
