Jeremy Lin took his first step toward the Sixth Man of the Year award on Wednesday, but should be pushing for starting minutes instead.
Playoffs Or Bust For Jeremy Lin In 2016
The 27-year-old finished with 17 points (5-for-10 FG, 5-for-6 FT) with two three-pointers, two assists and a rebound in the Hornets’ 104-94 loss to the Heat. He only turned the ball over twice in 27 minutes of action.
His starting counterpart, P.J. Hairston, managed just three points in 18 minutes, forcing Steve Clifford to reconsider his starting lineup.

What's clear from tonight's game: Hairston is a total bust as starter, and best line-up includes Lin, Batum, Kemba. Cliff, you listening?

You can't tell me you need to sacrifice your offense in Lin for mediocre D from Hairston!

As if his offensive production wasn’t enough, Lin also outperformed Hairston in the hair department.
