If his wife has her wish, Royals second baseman Ben Zobrist will not miss any of the world series.

Zobrist's wife, Christian music singer Julianna Zobrist, is pregnant with the couple's third child and is due three days after Game 7 of the World Series, according to Busted Coverage.

"If anything were to happen I would just take a selfie of me and the baby and text it to Ben after the game!" Julianna posted on Facebook during Game 1 -- which the Royals won 5-4 in 14 innings.

Not sure who originally posted this, but here's the deal. IF anything were to happen I would just take a selfie of me...

And Julianna is not getting much of a fight from Ben over the baby, according to The Associated Press.

"It's just a matter of I can only focus on one thing at a time anyway. She knows that. I'm one-tracked minded," Zobrist said. "So she already kind of let me know, if we're in the middle of a game, she's probably not going to tell me what's going on, and that's fine, because I trust her and trust our family members around her."

Zobrist, whom Kansas City acquired from Oakland during the 2015 season, hit .284 with seven home runs and 23 RBIs in 59 games with the Royals. For the season, he hit .276 with 13 homers and 56 RBIs.

The second baseman/outfielder already has played in the World Series in 2008 with Tampa Bay, but the Rays lost that series to the Phillies.

So far this postseason, Zobrist is 17-for-54 (.315) with two home runs and six RBIs. The Royals definitely would miss his presence if he were to leave to be with his wife and child.

Fortunately for Kansas City fans, they likely won't find out.
