D’Angelo Russell Has Edge Over Marcelo Huertas
At tipoff, Bryant will set a league record for the most seasons played with one franchise, usurping John Stockton. Stockton played for the Jazz from 1984-85 until his retirement after the 2002-03 season. Bryant -- who was drafted by the Hornets then traded to the Lakers in 1996 -- will embark on his 20th season.
“I'm just ready," he said after practice at the team's facility Tuesday, per ESPN. "Just ready to get started."
