Jacob deGrom has done everything for the Mets during the 2015 postseason, but it seems likely that his 2016 run will look quite a bit different.

The Mets ace has been known for a number of things during his two years with the team, but nothing says "Jacob deGrom" more than his long flowing hair. deGrom, however, has grown weary of his lettuce and plans on giving it a slice.

"I think my hair is gone at the end of the year." deGrom told the media on Tuesday. "It's driving me nuts. I've got to get rid of it."

While it will surely be disappointing for Mets fans to see deGrom part ways with his locks, they wont have to look far to find another pitching star with an impressive head of hair. Noah Syndergaard, who has earned the nickname "Thor," has every intention of keeping his hair exactly where it is.
