The 2015-16 NBA season tips off Tuesday and one of the marquee matchups will see the Pelicans and Warriors go head-to-head.

Warriors' Steve Kerr Not Ready To Coach

Golden State is coming off of a season where it won its first NBA championship since 1975 and it will look for a hot start as it enters the new campaign as one of the favorites out of the Western Conference. New Orleans ended a three-year playoff drought last spring, but was swept out of the first round by Golden State.

Alvin Gentry served as assistant coach on that NBA championship-winning Warriors team last season, but now he'll head a Pelicans group that believes it can compete in the Western Conference. With Steve Kerr still recovering from back surgery, Luke Walton will serve as Golden State's interim coach.
