In the wake of her boyfriend taking time off, Nikki Bella could be following suit.
John Cena dropped the United States Championship to Alberto Del Rio at Hell in a Cell on Sunday and is expected to now remain outside of the WWE realm until after Christmas. The "Cenation" leader is rumored to be taking part in some sort of reality show.
Possible Reasons For John Cena's Hiatus
Bella, his real life girlfriend, may be following suit in taking a hiatus from the squared circle. The longest reigning Divas Champion in WWE history fired off a tweet after Hell in a Cell, congratulating Charlotte on their match and ending the post with the cryptic words, "I'll be back."
You put up a tough fight @MsCharlotteWWE Hold on 2 that title bc my journey isn't over I feel as if I lost it all Time 2 regroup I'll b back

Charlotte, who is Ric Flair's daughter, retained her Divas Championship against Bella at Hell in a Cell, making her tapout to the Figure Eight. Though Bella hinted at a possible departure, she was on-hand for Monday Night RAW this week.

Bella teamed up with her sister Brie and Alicia Fox and defeated Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Paige in a six-person tag team match with Bella hitting the Rack Attack on Lynch to pick up the win for her team. It then led to Paige's full-blown heel turn, as she attacked Charlotte and Lynch after the bout.
While Bella was on the WWE's flagship show, Cena was absent, starting his hiatus.
There were rumors that Cena and Bella may take some time off to get engaged, but it's unknown if that will actually happen. The WWE Diva created a buzz when she posted an Instagram post that hinted at something big happening with the couple last week.
Bella was up to her cryptic ways again on Monday, but it remains to be seen if she takes time off.
