The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar went through hell and in the end, "The Beast" escaped on top by defeating "The Demon from Death Valley" to end their feud.

Bubba Ray Dudley Reacts To Brock Lesnar's Podcast Comments

Hell in a Cell was mostly a solid show, and aside from the win for Lesnar, four out of five titles were retained at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Here is a match-by-match review of the show along with grades and quick results.

Sasha Banks, NXT Outshining Divas Revolution

Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena

The "Cenation" leader put his United States Championship on the line in an open challenge and two surprise returns followed. First, Zeb Colter came back and then he introduced Alberto Del Rio. It was a bit disappointing given the Daniel Bryan rumors, but the two put on a solid match, which ended when Del Rio landed a kick to the head to win the title.
Rating: 3/5

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

This was a fantastic battle inside Hell in a Cell as the two threw everything they had at one another. Both men kicked out of each other's finishers and kendo sticks, steel chairs and tables were used throughout. In the end, Reigns hit a spear on his adversary to win the tremendous bout.
Rating: 4/5

The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz

TND continues to be one of the most entertaining facets of the WWE and Big E and Kofi Kingston hilariously had a band reading "XW" on their arms to acknowledge the absence of Xavier Woods. The match itself was pretty rushed and didn't have much time to tell a good story, but the heels used the trumpet and Kingston nailed Trouble In Paradise on Bubba Ray Dudley for the win.
Rating: 2/5

Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella

This match was slow and plodding at points, but it eventually picked up and had some great psychology with Bella targeting the babyface's back to tell a story that Charlotte's finishing maneuver may be hindered. Bella's Alabama Slam on Charlotte onto the ring apron outside of the ring was vicious. In the end, Charlotte won with the Figure Eight and Becky Lynch and even Paige celebrated with her.
Rating: 3/5

Seth Rollins vs. Kane

Though this feud was lame, the two delivered a solid match with "The Architect" defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against a game Kane. The highlight of the contest saw Rollins powerbomb Kane onto the Spanish announce table. From there, he won with a Pedigree to end Corporate Kane's role of Director of Operations.
Rating: 3/5

Kevin Owens vs. Ryback

This was another solid match on the card, nothing groundbreaking, but nothing terrible either. In the end, Owens nailed the Pop-up Powerbomb to win the bout.
Rating: 2/5

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

The final chapter between these two titans was a very entertaining one and it didn't take long for both men to get busted open. The Undertaker dominated the early portion of the proceedings, but Lesnar got back into it, growing frustrated over not being able to put "The Deadman" away with two F-5s. The two legends beat the crap out of each other, with Lesanr exposing the wooden boards on the ring by tearing up the canvas, leading to 'Taker hitting a chokeslam on them. He then hit the fakest looking Tombstone ever, to which "The Beast" kicked out. If anything hurt the clash, it was the lack of using the cage, making it almost pointless. The ending saw Lesnar hit a low blow and then another F-5, this time onto the wood, to win the bout and make 'Taker nearly look like an actual dead man. The Undertaker rose to his feet to a rousing ovation. In a shocker, The Wyatt Family entered the arena and attacked The Undertaker, eventually carrying him to the back.
Rating: 4/5.

Sports World News finished 6-2 with its predictions.

Show Grade

There really wasn't a bad match on the card, but nothing stood out as over-the-top amazing either. Del Rio's return bookended the night along with a great clash between two legends in Lesnar and The Undertaker. Overall, this show gets a B.
