It was another dismal performance for the Browns, falling to the Rams 24-6 on Sunday. Needless to say, head coach Mike Pettine was displeased with his team’s performance.
"Overall it's a pretty simple formula to lose a football game: Turn the ball over four times...penalties,” he said, per Cleveland.com. “We did some good things defensively for a while. You can't give up big plays. We have to play at a higher level.
Colleen Crowley Wasn't Hit On Tape, So Johnny Manziel Won't Be Suspended
"Offensively I never felt like we got in a rhythm. The noise gets to you and you have to go on silent count, and we did not do a good enough job of it."
Browns fans have analysis of their own. Turning the ball over isn’t the simple formula to lose a football game.
Rex Ryan Should Take A Chance On Johnny Manziel
Starting Josh McCown is.
Manziel should start next week regardless of McCown's injury status...the team needs a change and it shouldn't involve firing Pettine...yet

Manziel will only start if Mccown is hurt. Pettine will go down with the ship

@MaryKayCabot Hell yeah you do. Pettine pull your head out of your ass and play Manziel. Josh is a Jinx. You want to go down with him? U R

Fortunately for Browns fans, there is one saving grace. McCown was forced to exit Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. His playing status for Thursday is unknown.
There is hope for Manziel just yet.
#Browns Pettine doesn't know severity of MCCown injury. Said Manziel would start if McCown can't play.
