Don’t be the guy who has those last 12 points sitting on the bench because you took a gamble on a questionable player in Week 7. There are safer options to consider, and your fantasy team -- whatever you’re calling it -- deserves better than that.
Below are three players with a questionable designation you should avoid on Sunday.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers
It was always a long shot for Big Ben to return to the starting lineup on Sunday. Despite the QB’s best efforts -- practicing midweek -- all signs point to Landry Jones starting under center against the Chiefs.
Tyler Murphy -- a practice squad QB -- was promoted to provide insurance. Roethlisberger, however, still traveled with the team.
Steelers promoted former BC QB Tyler Murphy, an indication he will serve as Landry Jones' backup Sunday and Ben Roethlisberger won't play.

For what it's worth, #Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is traveling to KC, I'm told. The plan is still for Landry Jones, but Ben will travel

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Giants
Odell Beckham Jr. -- still battling a hamstring injury -- is...well, we’ll let him divulge the information.
In his first matchup with the Cowboys, however, Beckham Jr. only finished with 44 yards on eight receptions.
Antonio Gates, TE, Chargers
My current thoughts on what to do with Antonio Gates. Hopefully we get more clarity in the morning. pic.twitter.com/73zhhHLa2M

A player “not accustomed to dealing with” an injury is never a good sign, especially with a 4:05 kickoff.
Play it safe with an alternative on the bench.
