Brock Lesnar was the center of some controversy on Monday when he appeared on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast special on the WWE Network.
"The Beast" was candid with the WWE Hall of Famer, telling him he doesn't have the same passion for the business as many of his peers do and that he sees working for the WWE as a "job." This drew the ire of a lot of fans as Lesnar has been given solid booking in an industry he isn't passionate about and got to main event WrestleMania 31 last March.

One of his peers, Bubba Ray Dudley, appeared on the "Podnasty Wrestling Podcast" and gave his thoughts about the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion's stirring remarks.
"I have zero problem [with Lesnar's comments]," Dudley told the show. "I think the way he looks at it is absolutely perfect, and I think that is exactly the way I teach my up-and-coming wrestlers from day one."

Dudley, who later said he'd pursue a singles career in the WWE if the company ever asked him to, also added that he believes there's nothing wrong with the perspective of Paul Heyman's client.
"You have to remember that this is a business, and the idea in business is to always climb the ladder of success and achieve the most success you can especially financially, especially in an industry where you're going to destroy your body," he said. "You want to make the most amount of money possible. The wrestling business is no different from any other business, whether you flip burgers or whether you do brain surgery, you always want to climb the ladder of success, so I think Brock's way of looking at it is absolutely perfect."
Though Dudley was fine with the statement Lesnar made, it was met with a lot of backlash on social media. One fan was so outraged he took it up with Austin, who defended "The Beast" on Twitter.
Lesnar will next clock in to his job when he faces The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell on Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The passion may not be there, but as long as Lesnar's in the ring, he'll get his job done.
