Gus Kenworthy -- a 2014 Olympic slopestyle silver medalist -- revealed to ESPN The Magazine that he’s gay.

He just didn’t reveal it in Sochi as he had planned.

"I never got to be proud of what I did in Sochi because I felt so horrible about what I didn't do," Kenworthy told ESPN The Magazine. "I didn't want to come out as the silver medalist from Sochi. I wanted to come out as the best freeskier in the world."

Already a name in the sports world, Kenworthy made his first real impact on social media after asking Miley Cyrus to be his Valentine in 2014.
